Rushden Golden Plover Survey

Due to the Upper Nene Valley Special Protection Area (SPA) where golden plovers make up some of the qualifying interest and the proximity of the two proposed sites Natural England have requested this survey to be undertaken to inform the Habitat Regulations Assessment that will need to be completed on the Joint Core Strategy.

The two sites are Rushden East and Nene Valley Farm, Rushden.

A survey of two sites in Rushden has been undertaken by consultants to assess the sites use by golden plovers.
