North Northamptonshire is in the heart of England and a prime business location with major cities such as London, Birmingham and Cambridge all within 100 miles from the area.
With excellent road links to the rest of the Country, it is possible to service the majority of population centres in the UK and return within a working day. There are a range of high quality employment sites that have planning permission or are allocated in the JCS that can allow companies to invest in North Northamptonshire and benefit from its high quality housing within beautiful countryside.
The M1, A1, A45 and A14 key strategic transport routes give companies excellent access to all parts of the country. The A14 provides the major east-west route between the east coast ports of Felixstowe and Harwich and the Midlands. The M1 and A1 run North to South linking into the national network.
East Midlands Trains runs a regular service to/from Sheffield in the North to London via stations at Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough, with London just a 70 minute train journey from Corby.
The area is also close to several national airports including Birmingham, East Midlands, London Stanstead and London Luton aswell as Sywell Aerodrome, a private airfield with facilities for executive flights and helicopter links.
